SHANE ANDREWS (DEFENDER) AGE 26 BUILDER

Signed in October 1999 from Clevedon Town where he was in the side that won the Dr Martens Midlands division and the Somerset county cup. Shane played in both cup victories for Chippenham Town as well as playing left back at Wembley. Prior to that he was one of several players who played for Calne Town

GRANLEY DICKS (DEFENDER) AGE 35 POSTMAN

Signed from Gloucester City in March 2001 where he was the ever present captain. He has brought bags of experience and marshals the defence superbly. He is the older brother of former West Ham and Liverpool player Julian Dicks. His former clubs include Bath City where he played for several seasons in the conference and Trowbridge Town. Grantley was appointed club captain in June 2001.

ROB SKIDMORE (DEFENDER) AGE 27 CIVIL SERVANT

Signed in October 2000 from Clevedon Town. Prior to this he was an apprentice and professional with Bristol City. Rob is another tough tackling defender who reads the game well. Signed on contract until June 2002. He was a member of the Forest Green Rovers side that won the Dr Martens Southern Division. Previous clubs include Bath City

NATHAN RUDGE (DEFENDER) AGE 22 WINDOW FITTER

Joined the club on contract in July 2000 from then Dr Martens premier side Clevedon Town. Nathan is a tough tackling player who is also excellent on the ball. Formerly with Norwich City, he has spent six months on trial with Bristol Rovers. He has all the talent in the world and will surely be playing league football before too long. Last season`a manager`s player of the year.

LEE VICKERMAN (DEFENDER) AGE 21

Lee signed in in August 2001 from Bath City. He can play either full back or centre half and was a regular member of the Bath City first team for over 3 years. An excellent marker he also possess superb distribution and tackling skills.

DANNY HUNT (DEFENDER) AGE 22 BUILDER

Danny joined the club in June 2001 after a short spell playing for Cinderford Town. Prior to that he was an apprentice at Swindon Town and then he won a Dr Martens Midlands Division runners up medal when he played for Newport County. Danny spent most of last season playing for Gloucester City. He has a sweet left foot and enjoys a tackle.

JOHN WOODS (MIDFIELD) AGE 29 SALES MANAGER

Signed in 1998 from Calne Town. Everbody`s favourite player! He is the original midfield dynamo and he always keeps going until for final whistle. Excellent attitude and a fitness fanatic. He has played in the Dr Martens league for both Salisbury City and Trowbridge Town. He also played in both Screwfix league cup finals and played central midfield at Wembley.

SIMON CHARITY (MIDFIELD) AGE 26 PRINTER

Signed from Paulton Rovers in August 1998. Very talented player who has a superb engine. Last season in our promotion campaign he weighed in with 14 goals. He has played in the Dr Martens Premier League for Gloucester City. Played central midfield at Wembley and in both Screwfix league cup final successes.

STEVE BROWN (MIDFIELD) AGE 27 CIVIL SERVANT

Signed in July 1998 from Calne Town. Steve is a very direct left winger who is superb at taking on defenders. Steve is a very talented player who has already played in the Southern League for Trowbridge Town. He played at Wembley and also in both of the Screwfix League cup successes. He recently signed a new contract to keep him at CTFC until June 2002.

MARK HARRINGTON (MIDFIELD) AGE 25 PRINTER

Mark signed on a two year contract in June 2001 from Premier Division Bath City. "Harry" had been a regular in the Bath side for over six seasons. He has a fantastic engine as well as a great first touch. Previous to Bath City he played for Paulton Rovers and was a YTS player at Bristol Rovers

DAVE BRIGHT (FORWARD) AGE 28 SALES REP

Signed in July 2000 from Brislington. Dave is a very strong centre forward who has a tremendous work rate and excellent physique. He has played in the Dr Martens League for Salisbury City and Clevedon Town having originally started off in the football League where he played for games for Stoke City. Last season he scored the winning goal in the final minute of the Screwfix League cup final. Signed a new contract keeping him at Chippenham until June 2003

STEVE TWEDDLE (FORWARD) AGE 31 FIRE SAFETY OFFICER

Signed from Melksham Town in July 1999. Steve is excellent at holding up the ball and was a great signing for Chippenham. Top scorer for the last two seasons he scored 49 league and cup goals last season. He sets a great example to everyone in the team with his work rate and commitment. Steve played centre forward at Wembley and in both league cup final victories. He has signed a new contract that will see him stay at Hardenhuish until June 2003

MATT RAWLINS (FORWARD) AGE 25 BUILDER

Signed from Gloucester City in Jan 2001 on a 18 month contract. Matt was top scorer at Gloucester City before he decided to switch clubs. He started his career by spending five years at Arsenal, two as a schoolboy, then as a apprentice before spending a year as a professional. Whilst at Arsenal he was a FA Youth cup winner and he managed to score in both legs of the final "live" on Sky Sports against Millwall. He also played for Clevedon Town where he was a regular scorer in their Dr Martens championship winning side. A great signing for the club, he scored two goals on his debut against league champions Taunton Town and managed to score 22 goals in 4 months last season. He also played in Chippenham`s cup final success last season.

ADRIAN MINGS (FORWARD) AGE 32 

Signed in June 2001 from Ryman Premier League Basingstoke Town. Adie is a powerful centre forward who leads the line superbly. His career has come full circle as he started at Chippenham Town before being sold to the then conference side Bath City. He left Bath after several seasons moving on for £8,000 to Gloucester City. He left them in 1999 on a "Bosman" and opted to join Forest Green Rovers and played another season in the conference. He joined Basingstoke in June 2000 before deciding to return home to Chippenham when his contract ended.

TOMMY SAUNDERS (MANAGER) AGE 29 CIVIL SERVANT

Joined the club in Feb 1998 from Calne Town where he had been manager for three and a half seasons. Since joining the club nearly four years ago it has been one success after another. In the first season he led Chippenham to third place in the league and we misses out on promotion behind Tiverton Town. In the second season he became the youngest ever manager in history at just 28 to lead a side out at Wembley in the F.A. Vase final. Last season he took the club to the quarter finals of the F.A. Vase and to promotion to the Southern League. Also during his time Chippenham have won back to back Western League cups and last season was voted the Screwfix Manager of the year. After being approached by Bath City with a view to becoming their manager Tommy decided to put pen to paper and stay with Chippenham until at least June 2003

COLIN "NOBBY " BUSH (COACH) ENGINEER

Joined from Calne Town where he was assistant manager for three years before having a season as joint manager. Nobby is a very experienced man to have in your corner, he has a calm temperament and is always available to give the manager his opinion. In charge with everything to do with fitness at the club as well as doubling up as manager of Chippenham Youth team. Plays a major role in everything that the club has achieved. Last season he led the unders 18`s to the County Cup final where they were beaten 1-0. He won the same competition in 1999 by the same scoreline against Swindon Town. He was offered a number of managers posts in the summer of 2001 but decided to stay and help the club continue its forward progress
